What results can I expect from the Self-Mastery Program?
By integrating the principles of the Traditional Chinese Medicine and Yoga into a committed regular practice, you will start to see changes in your physical, mental and emotional health and the way you live aligns with the seasonal cycles. You will have more energy and vitality and experience reduced repeated cycle of disharmony in your health. You will feel more clear and find more ease and flow in your life. Your dedication to the practice can give profound results.
How long does it take to complete this program?
The program includes 7 modules. The first module includes 3 short videos and downloadable guides that forms the building blocks of the program and the last module includes 1 short video that integrate all your learning. The five modules in between are the five seasons. Each season includes 3 short videos and downloadable guides that introduce the seasonal energetics and fundamentals, 4 videos of Yin, Myofascial Release and Yang Yoga practices between 15 - 30 minutes each, 1 video of breath meditation and 1 video of mudra practice as well as a reflection journal to download. Each seasonal module will be released at the beginning of the season following the Southern Hemisphere (i.e. 18 March - Autumn, 1 June - Winter, 1 September - Spring, 1 December - Summer, 18 February - Late Summer). You will have lifetime access to your course materials and the private Facebook group. This means you have complete flexibility as to when you complete the program.
Is this program available for both Southern and Northern hemisphere?
Currently this program is following the Southern Hemisphere, but it will be open to Northern hemisphere in September 2019.
I’ve never done an online program. How does it work?
You’ll receive private access to an easy to use online platform. Your video lessons and guidebook are organised within each module. Each season will be released to the online course platform automatically following the seasons of the Southern Hemisphere and an email reminder will notify you and help you stay on track. Any additional discussion and support will take place in our private Facebook group.
How tech friendly do I have to be to take this program?
All you need is an internet connection. You can stream the videos directly from the member’s portal and download the guides as your reference.
I’ve never done yoga. Can I still participate in the Self-Mastery Program?
Absolutely. The practices are designed for all level of experience whether you are a beginner or a practice regularly. You can do as much as it feels good for the body and do as little as you like, to really make it your own practice. The important thing is to have an open mind and an open heart to learning, integrating and practicing on and off the mat.
I’m pregnant. Can I take this program?
Although yoga is suitable in pregnancy with modifications, it depends whether you have an established yoga practice and know your modifications. Or you are completely new to yoga which I do not recommend this program for pregnant women since I am not there in person to suggest proper modifications.
Will I have access to Carol for questions?
I personally respond to all your online questions both on the online platform and the private Facebook group. You can also email me privately at [email protected] Similar questions come up for everyone so I encourage you to use the public forums to create a strong community to support for each other.
